Bitcoin ETFs Reversal: $463M Outflow as Ether ETFs Gain $197M
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced a significant reversal last week, recording $462.7 million in net outflows after three consecutive weeks of inflows.
The outflows occurred across all four trading sessions from Tuesday to Friday, with the largest daily withdrawal on Thursday totaling $282.7 million, the biggest since July.
ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF led the weekly withdrawals with $234.2 million in net outflows, followed by Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust ETF with $129.1 million and BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF with $52.5 million.
However, despite this week's reversal, spot Bitcoin ETFs remain in positive flow territory for September, with about $307.3 million in net inflows through Friday.
In contrast, US spot Ether ETFs recorded nearly $197 million in net inflows over the same period, led by BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust ETF with $148.8 million and 21Shares Core Ethereum ETF with $29.1 million on Friday alone.
