Bitcoin ETFs Reverse Inflow Streak with $46.6 Million Outflows on Sept 8
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced a sudden shift in investor sentiment on September 8, marking a reversal of their previous four-week inflow streak. A total of $46.65 million exited these funds, with Grayscale's GBTC leading the outflows at $65.51 million.
The decline is significant, as it follows an impressive $3.52 billion influx in August and $730.9 million in a single day on September 3. However, inflows into several products partially offset the decline, with Bitwise's BITB posting a net inflow of $14.47 million.
The outflow represents a pause in the strong inflow trend seen over recent weeks, but market attention now turns to whether this is a temporary correction or a signal that the momentum is weakening again.
