Bitcoin ETFs See Largest Inflows Since January Amid BTC Price Rally
US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw their largest inflows in nearly eight months as BTC reclaimed $80,000. According to SoSoValue data, the funds recorded $730.9 million in net inflows on Thursday.
This is the biggest daily haul since January 14, when ETFs attracted $843.6 million. The surge came after $101.2 million inflows on Wednesday and as Bitcoin's price regained the $80,000 level, which it had been trading around for several days.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF by net assets, led Thursday's buying with $454 million in inflows. This accounted for about 62% of the total inflows, according to Farside Investors data.
CryptoQuant remained cautious about Bitcoin's rally, citing weaker spot demand and heavy short covering as a key bull market threshold at $83,000 emerges.
