Bitcoin ETFs See Largest Monthly Inflow Since July 2024
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their largest monthly inflow in 13 months, at $3.54 billion in August.
This marks a notable rebound from earlier months when these funds experienced persistent outflows, according to Galaxy Digital's head of research, Alex Thorn.
The year-to-date net figure is negative $1.7 billion, despite the strong August performance, which trails last year's pace of $35.2 billion in annual net inflows.
Analysts attribute the recent surge to a mix of macroeconomic factors, including expectations of interest rate cuts and a stabilizing regulatory environment for digital assets.
