Bitcoin ETFs Snap Inflow Streak Amid Price Pullback
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) posted net outflows of $201.9 million on August 28, 2026, ending a nine-day inflow streak just as Bitcoin's price pulled back from a three-month high above $80,000.
The reversal came despite a surge in the asset's price over the prior nine sessions, which saw daily inflows top $300 million and cumulative net inflows reach $3 billion. The funds' total net assets fell to near $97.59 billion after the outflow, with ARK 21Shares' ARKB leading the way at $114.9 million in net outflows.
However, Ethereum ETFs continued their own inflow streak, taking in $102.1 million on the same day and lifting cumulative inflows to about $12.9 billion against roughly $13.8 billion in total net assets.
The reversal of Bitcoin's price was attributed to Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's hawkish remarks at the Jackson Hole symposium, which sent it plummeting from an intraday high of $81,455 to $76,845 before recovering slightly over the weekend.
