Bitcoin ETFs Soar as Altcoin Funds Experience Daily Outflows
Bitcoin has regained its position as the most attractive cryptocurrency investment for institutional investors, attracting over $101 million in fresh capital on September 2. The inflows into Bitcoin ETFs bring total net assets to approximately $97.22 billion and cumulative net inflows to around $54.73 billion.
In contrast, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana funds experienced daily outflows, with spot Ethereum ETFs recording $48.08 million in net withdrawals during the session. The 30-day net inflows for Ethereum remain positive at approximately $1.83 billion, while cumulative inflows stand near $13.03 billion.
XRP experienced a more significant reversal, with five U.S. XRP ETF products combined recording net outflows of around $57.20 million on September 2. However, the token's longer-term demand remains strong, with approximately $1.68 billion in cumulative inflows and 30-day net flows still positive at around $165.22 million.
Despite the daily withdrawals, Solana's broader ETF flow picture remains positive, with approximately $197.60 million in 30-day inflows and around $1.34 billion in cumulative net inflows.
