Bitcoin ETFs Soar as Inflows Hit Best Week Since October 2025
Bitcoin has posted its best week since October 2025 in terms of inflows into spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which is a positive signal for the cryptocurrency. As of midday on August 26, Bitcoin traded around $78,500 and needs to gain approximately 60.5% to reach its all-time high.
The iShares Bitcoin ETF Trust (IBIT) was the largest fund in the spot Bitcoin ETF category and saw inflows of $1.92 billion last week, marking the group's best week since October 2025. This influx of new capital is a bullish sign for Bitcoin, indicating that institutional investors are renewing their enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency.
In addition to ETF inflows, other positive clues suggest that Bitcoin may be on the rise again. The correlation between Bitcoin and gold has increased, with both assets moving higher amid concerns about Uncle Sam's $40 trillion debt tab, which is stoking the debasement trade.
