Bitcoin ETFs Soar as Institutional Demand Rebounds

U.S. Bitcoin ETFs saw significant inflows this week, adding $865.3 million to their funds from August 3-7, according to Farside data.

This surge in institutional demand represents a sharp rebound from previous months and has analysts noting that the influx of capital is not necessarily tied to new adoption.

Santiment reported 2.27 million new Bitcoin wallets created during the past week, the highest total recorded in a year, but this increase is attributed to both renewed market activity and defensive transfers linked to the recent Coldcard security crisis.

Despite the increased buying activity, the institutional cohort remains underwater on average, with an estimated aggregate realized price near $72,000 per coin and a current value of around $64,700.
