Bitcoin ETFs Soar as Investors Abandon AI Funds for Hard Assets
Bitcoin ETFs have seen an influx of $2.8 billion in eight consecutive trading sessions, as investors rotate from AI-linked funds toward hard assets.
The surge is part of a broader shift toward gold and Bitcoin, with the two asset classes collectively attracting $7 billion in five days, according to Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) has captured most of the recent demand, drawing in about $2.02 billion, or roughly 72% of the eight-session total.
The rotation away from AI-linked funds is significant, with the VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH) shedding $1.7 billion last week.
