Bitcoin ETFs Soar to Record $1.67 Billion Inflows Over Five Consecutive Trading Days
Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a massive influx of capital over five consecutive trading days, attracting a combined $1.67 billion in net inflows. This surge in demand was led by BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, known as IBIT, which drew in $503 million on August 20.
The figures demonstrate a sustained period of investment into regulated vehicles that track the price of Bitcoin, allowing investors to gain exposure without directly holding the cryptocurrency. Over the five-day span, the group of Bitcoin ETFs collectively recorded $1.67 billion in inflows.
BlackRock's IBIT is one of the largest and most actively traded spot Bitcoin ETFs available to investors. Launched following regulatory approvals, it provides a vehicle for both institutional and retail participants seeking Bitcoin price exposure through conventional financial infrastructure.
