Bitcoin ETFs Stabilize with $172M Inflows After Brutal Redemptions
After two months of brutal redemptions, spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $172.4 million in net inflows in July.
This marks a partial recovery from June's record-breaking $4.06 billion in net outflows, which was the largest monthly redemption since these products launched in January 2024.
BlackRock's IBIT drove the bulk of positive flows during a seven-consecutive-day streak in mid-July, accounting for nearly $1 billion in cumulative inflows.
However, Fidelity's FBTC showed signs of stagnation or outright decline in demand, and Bitwise's BITB contributed little to nothing on the inflow side.
The July data suggests that institutional appetite is selective and episodic rather than persistent, with true recovery requiring consistently positive weekly flows across multiple products.
