Bitcoin ETFs Suffer Record Outflow as Price Plunges Below $80K

Bitcoin spot ETFs have been experiencing a sharp sell-off in recent days. From September 8-10, there were $450 million in outflows, erasing nearly half of the previous week's $987 million inflows. The ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF was mainly affected by these redemptions, with $282.6 million withdrawn on September 10 alone.

The decline in investor confidence is likely linked to the drop in Bitcoin's price below $80,000 during this period. Despite strong cumulative inflows since January 2024, net outflows of about $1.07 billion have been seen in 2026 so far, indicating increased caution among investors amid volatile market conditions.
