Bitcoin ETFs Surge Past $1.9 Billion in Biggest Weekly Inflow Since October
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded $1.92 billion in net inflows for the week ending August 22, their strongest weekly performance since October.
The influx coincided with a significant price increase, as Bitcoin rose more than 20% over the same period, briefly surpassing $79,000 after starting the week near $63,000.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) accounted for approximately $1.33 billion of the total across five consecutive days of positive flows.
Fidelity's FBTC drew $293.16 million and ARK Invest/21Shares' ARKB added $126.84 million, with ETF analyst Eric Balchunas noting that IBIT's daily flow pattern resembled a bullish signal.
Despite the weekly surge, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded approximately $2.91 billion in net outflows for 2026 through August 22.
