Bitcoin ETFs Surge to $626M Amid Renewed Demand
US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a significant influx of capital in early August, raking in $626 million across the first three trading days. This marks a notable rebound for the category, which bled more than $8 billion in May and June.
The majority of these inflows came from BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, which contributed about $479 million to the total. As a result, its lifetime net inflows approached $61 billion since the funds began trading in January 2024.
Wednesday's session saw the largest influx, with over $244.4 million pouring into these funds. Bitcoin traded near $64,700 on Wednesday, while the wider crypto market valued at about $2.29 trillion did not follow suit.
