Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple Consolidate Near Recent Highs
The top three cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP), have maintained their bullish outlook after significant gains last week.
BTC is trading at $79,806 on Monday, holding steady near its recent highs. Despite a mild pullback in momentum, the cryptocurrency's price action suggests consolidation or a short-term correction before an upside move.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for BTC is around 65, indicating firm but not extreme buying pressure. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) has turned negative, hinting at waning momentum within the overall positive structure.
Ethereum and Ripple have also defended key bullish supports, with ETH trading at $2,502 and XRP at $1.407 on Monday. Both cryptocurrencies maintain a constructive bias as their prices hold above their respective 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs).
The next significant barriers for BTC are the horizontal resistance at $85,000 and deeper pullbacks to the EMA cluster around $70,000. For ETH, key resistance is seen near $2,550, while XRP faces its next hurdle at the horizontal resistance of $1.900.
