Bitcoin, Ethereum ETFs See Eighth Straight Day of Net Inflows
Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs in the US have seen an eight-day streak of net inflows, indicating strong institutional investor demand. According to SoSoValue data, Bitcoin ETFs recorded a total net inflow of $232 million on August 26th, with BlackRock's IBIT fund leading the pack at $201 million. This brings the cumulative historical net inflow for IBIT to $63.121 billion.
Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF, BTC, saw a net inflow of $46.83 million, while its GBTC fund experienced a net outflow of $50.39 million, with total net outflows reaching $27.578 billion since inception. The total net asset value of spot Bitcoin ETFs stands at $98.629 billion, accounting for 6.26% of the total Bitcoin market capitalization.
In Ethereum ETFs, a similar picture emerged, with a net inflow of $192 million on August 26th. BlackRock's ETHA product saw the highest daily inflow at $116 million, bringing its historical cumulative net inflow to $12.523 billion. Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust ETF recorded an inflow of $34.67 million, while spot Ethereum ETFs have a total net asset value of $15.127 billion, representing 5.07% of the total Ethereum market capitalization.
These eight consecutive days of net inflows into Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs suggest that institutional investors remain confident in these digital assets.
