Bitcoin Exchange Balances Rebound Sharply Amid ETF Demand Concerns
Bitcoin exchange balances have made a remarkable recovery in just under three weeks. The rebound saw around 28,000 BTC added to exchanges, reversing about 84% of a six-week decline that had raised concerns over supply shortages due to ETF demand.
The recent increase suggests that ETF inflows can draw from off-exchange sources like OTC inventories, rather than solely from visible exchange wallets. This challenges the narrative of an immediate Bitcoin shortage caused by ETF buying.
