Bitcoin Eyes $70K Target After Cautious Testing of $65K
The crypto market capitalization has reached $2.22 trillion, matching its two-week highs. This rebound is largely driven by buyers who have taken control since the start of August.
However, this recovery pace is significantly slower than that seen in early July, suggesting a waning of buyer interest. The current lack of fundamental drivers of growth also contributes to this cautious market sentiment.
BTC has been testing the $65K level for four consecutive days without any significant surge in buying activity. Yet, it lacks sell-offs as well, indicating a build-up of short positions above this level.
A potential next target for growth appears to be the $70K region, which is near the 200-day moving average. This would mark a significant shift in sentiment in favor of buyers and put key market contention areas seen in March and April behind.
