Bitcoin Faces Crucial Resistance Test at $65,000

Bitcoin is currently testing a critical short-term resistance area near $65,000. This level corresponds to a 78.6% Fibonacci retracement and a descending trendline from an earlier peak around $66,000.

The chart suggests that a sustained move above $65,074 would be the first stronger sign of buyer control. However, clearing both this Fibonacci barrier and the falling resistance line is necessary before traders can confirm the recovery as a breakout.

A successful breakout could open the way towards $66,291, which marks the 38.2% level of the chart's larger projected range. Above that, the next major resistance levels appear near $69,166 and $72,165.

On the other hand, if Bitcoin rejects this resistance cluster, it may send the price back towards the recent consolidation floor around $63,000, with deeper Fibonacci support at $62,533.71 and $61,592.50 also potentially coming into play.
