Bitcoin Fails to Break $80K Barrier Again, Pi Network's PI Remains Strong
Bitcoin (BTC) once again attempted to break through the coveted $80,000 level on Monday morning but was met with rejection, dipping below $79,000 before rebounding. The cryptocurrency's attempts to surge past $80,000 and $81,000 have been halted every time since mid-August.
After a brief dip to under $77,000 on Friday following a hawkish speech by Kevin Warsh, BTC rebounded over the weekend and reached $79,000 last Sunday. However, selling pressure built up in the following days, causing BTC to slip to $76,400 on September 2/3.
The bulls stepped in and prevented another leg down, allowing BTC to surge to $82,400 on Thursday before being rejected again due to a strong US jobs report. The weekend was relatively quiet, with BTC trading sideways between $79,000 and $80,000.
