Bitcoin Flirts with $65K, Pi Network's PI Surges Amid Altcoin Rally
Bitcoin's price continues to fluctuate, reaching $65,000 for the first time since Friday morning. However, it has yet to hold onto this level.
The largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization has been fighting to reclaim the $64,000 mark for several days. It finally surpassed it yesterday and is currently hovering just below $65,000.
Despite its efforts, BTC's dominance over altcoins remains steady at around 57% on CoinGecko (CG). Its market capitalization has touched $1.3 trillion.
Looking beyond Bitcoin, the altcoin landscape is seeing some movement. Ethereum has surged above $1,900 after a 2.2% daily increase, while most larger-cap alts have experienced minor moves. However, Pi Network's native token PI has emerged as today's top performer, gaining over 15% at one point before being halted.
