Bitcoin Forms Golden Cross Pattern, Analyst Predicts Imminent Breakout
Bitcoin's price has been on an upward trend lately, and recent data suggests that it may be entering a long-term uptrend. According to market analyst CryptoGoos, Bitcoin has formed a golden cross pattern on its trading chart, which is a bullish signal.
A golden cross occurs when the 50-day moving average (MA) crosses over the 200-day MA, indicating a shift in momentum from bearish to bullish demand. This formation often triggers significant price surges, with some rallies reaching as high as 40-70%.
Bitcoin has exhibited this pattern in previous bull markets, including October 2023, October 2024, and September 2025, when its price saw significant spikes. The analyst's chart suggests that a similar breakout is imminent, potentially sending BTC towards the $147,000 level in the coming months.
Bitcoin has been recovering since the Fed's FOMC meeting on Wednesday, which kept interest rates steady at 3.5-3.75%. The asset surged from $63,400 to a high of $64,710 and has maintained its value above the crucial $63k support level. This is a significant development, as Bitcoin has struggled to bounce back after months of weakening momentum driven by various uncertainties.
