Bitcoin Futures Carry Surges Past Treasury Yields Amid ETF Inflows
Bitcoin futures carry reached 7.89% on August 7, exceeding the two-year Treasury yield of 4.19%. This significant gap between yields and the futures market suggests that investors are betting heavily on Bitcoin's price appreciation.
The US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $865 million during the week, indicating growing investor interest in this asset class. The inflows into these funds have been substantial, with a total of $626 million added over three days.
Bitcoin's price also rose to $64,744.53, but market reaction was muted as the cryptocurrency continues to trade within a narrow range between $62,000 and $65,000.
