Bitcoin Futures Contract Set to Resolve on August 1, 2026
Rozee, a financial derivatives platform owned by Robinhood, has created a futures contract based on the price of Bitcoin (BTC) at a specific point in time. On August 1, 2026, at 7pm EDT, the contract will resolve and determine its payout.
The contract uses data from CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) to calculate the final price. At the last minute before expiration, 60 RTI prices are collected, and the official value is the average of these prices.
Participants in the contract can win $1 for every contract they own if their prediction is correct. However, those employed by certain agencies or holding material non-public information on Bitcoin are not permitted to trade on the contract.
