Bitcoin, Gold Prices Soar as Bond Market Turmoil Takes Hold
Bitcoin and gold experienced a significant surge in value over the past few days, rebounding from a slump that saw Bitcoin plummet to around $60,000 by June.
The cryptocurrency's price had dropped from its January high of approximately $95,000 due to investor apprehension towards speculative assets earlier this year. Concerns about proposed regulation of the industry also weighed on crypto supporters.
However, the bond market turmoil appears to have given both Bitcoin and gold a boost, causing their prices to rise. On Friday, Bitcoin rose above $77,000, marking a notable turnaround for the cryptocurrency.
