Bitcoin Hashrate Bounces Back from Triple Bottom
Bitcoin's hashrate has shown resilience after bouncing off the same level three times and recovering from a dip to 853 EH/s. This rebound is significant because it shows that miners are adapting to changing conditions, including elevated electricity costs in key regions.
The most recent dip to 853 EH/s marked the third time in recent weeks that Bitcoin's hashrate dropped to roughly 850 EH/s before snapping back upward. Despite this recovery, the network remains about 20% below its all-time high of approximately 1.15 ZH/s set in October 2025.
The explosive growth of infrastructure for large language models and AI workloads has created a new class of buyer willing to pay premium prices for reliable electricity. Miners are finding themselves outbid in some markets, which is affecting their margins directly.
