Bitcoin Hits 15-Week High of $81,265 as Bull Market Signs Emerge
Bitcoin has surged to a 15-week high of $81,265 after an eight-day rally that saw its price increase by approximately 28%. The move wiped out three months of losses in just one week and added around $350 billion to Bitcoin's market cap.
The rally comes as CryptoQuant's Bull Score Index jumped from 30 to 80, its highest level since October 2025. The analytics firm noted that spot and futures demand are growing together for the first time since early October 2025.
However, CryptoQuant also flagged near-term risks, including short-term holder whales realizing around $1.2 billion in profits between August 20 and 22. Traders' unrealized profit margins hit 20.5%, the highest since June 2025.
The US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $338 million in net inflows on August 24, led by BlackRock's IBIT with $209 million.
