Bitcoin Hits New All-Time High After 10% Surge
Bitcoin surged to a new all-time high on Friday, rising by over 10% in a single day. The move pushed its market capitalization up to $1.56 trillion, accounting for nearly 60% of the total cryptocurrency market cap.
The price of Bitcoin climbed from $73,025 to $78,961, with the volume of trades reaching $61.7 billion. This represents a significant increase in value over the past week, with Bitcoin gaining 23.48% since last Friday.
Other cryptocurrencies also saw gains, with Ethereum rising by 6.96% and Tether USDt increasing by 0.05%. However, the market capitalization of these assets remains relatively low compared to Bitcoin's dominant position.
