Bitcoin Holds Above $64,000 as Whale Activity Signals Accumulation
Bitcoin (BTC) maintained its value above $64,000 after a significant purchase from a whale, or large investor. The whale transferred over 1,250 BTC worth around $80.94 million from Binance, suggesting that they may be positioning for further gains.
Crypto commentator Ted Pillows described the move as 'Accumulation', echoing a wider view among traders that large holders are buying and holding onto Bitcoin.
On-chain data showed that Bitcoin's short-term holder cost basis is near $69,000, which could be an important price zone to watch. Additionally, the US GDP grew 1.5% in Q2, missing forecasts but strong spending kept the Fed cautious.
