Bitcoin Holds Above $65K as Strong ETF Inflows Boost Crypto Market
The cryptocurrency market is showing signs of resilience as Bitcoin holds above $65,000. The price has gained more than 3% in a week, with Ethereum climbing above $1,920 and Solana posting gains of about 5%. One key driver behind this recovery is continued demand for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, which saw the strongest weekly inflows since April.
The delay in the CLARITY Act, a proposed market structure bill aimed at providing greater regulatory clarity for the digital asset industry, has had little impact on price action. Market analysts noted that the delay was largely priced in, with ETF inflows and macroeconomic developments having a greater influence on price action than regulatory headlines.
Meanwhile, Robinhood has expanded its cryptocurrency trading services to eligible users in the UK, allowing customers to access more than 50 digital assets through the company's platform. Mastercard has also strengthened its stablecoin strategy with the acquisition of BVNK, a deal valued at up to $1.8 billion.
The industry is experiencing a significant consolidation phase, with over 100 crypto projects shutting down or ceasing operations in 2026. This trend is viewed as part of a broader industry maturation process that is removing weaker projects while allowing stronger platforms with sustainable business models to survive.
