Bitcoin Holds Above Ascending Trendline as Sharpe Ratio Signals Optimal Accumulation
Bitcoin's price has been holding steady above an ascending trendline from its June low near $57,500, despite a sharp ETF outflow day and rising oil prices.
The Sharpe ratio, which measures reward per unit of risk, has compressed to -23, a reading that appeared at the 2015, 2019, and 2022 bear market bottoms before each of Bitcoin's three major recovery cycles.
This compression is seen as a signal of deep seller exhaustion rather than endless downside, making it an optimal time for spot accumulation.
The price action shows $BTC consolidating between the ascending trendline and a horizontal resistance band near $66,000 to $67,000. The Parabolic SAR remains bullish below price.
