Bitcoin Holds Above EMA as Miners Transfer Large Amounts to NYDIG
Bitcoin's price has been struggling to recover after sellers rejected it near $64,988 three days earlier. Despite this, Bitcoin has managed to hold above its 9-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), which currently sits at around $64,062.
The recent transfer of 581 BTC worth approximately $37.3 million by MARA and Riot Platforms to NYDIG has raised concerns about potential supply pressure on the market. However, it's essential to note that this transfer may not necessarily confirm a sale, as the destination wallet could be related to execution activity rather than a completed trade.
CryptoQuant's data suggests a less bearish picture for Bitcoin miners. The Miner Netflow Total rose to 371 BTC on August 7th, indicating that tracked miners received more BTC than they sent. Additionally, the Miner Reserve increased to 1.1928 million BTC after reaching a recent low.
However, this uptick in reserve does not necessarily confirm an accumulation trend. The Relative Vigor Index (RVGI) remains below zero, suggesting that bearish momentum has eased but has yet to be confirmed as bullish.
