Bitcoin Holds Firm Amid US-Iran Conflict Escalation
The conflict between the United States and Iran has escalated, with US forces launching strikes on Iranian targets near Kharg Island. Despite this, Bitcoin's price has remained above $78,000.
According to reports, multiple Iranian tankers were targeted by US forces after Iranian forces attempted to hit an American Navy warship. The US has also started targeting Iranian shipping in the Gulf of Oman.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have threatened retaliation against regional energy assets and are preparing a maritime exclusion zone around the Strait of Hormuz. In response, Saudi-backed Yemeni forces have renewed operations against Houthi-held areas.
