On July 30, global markets reacted to escalating tensions between the US and Iran. The US Central Command carried out heavy strikes against Iran in response to Iranian ballistic-missile attacks on US forces.

The contrast between Bitcoin's price action and other assets was notable. Oil surged about 8% overnight, reaching $90 per barrel, while U.S. stocks fell sharply. Despite the geopolitical risk reaction, Bitcoin traded near $63,915 and was little changed.

However, the cryptocurrency market saw significant stress as approximately $286 million in positions were liquidated over 24 hours. This indicates that leveraged crypto traders still faced substantial strain even as Bitcoin avoided a comparable directional selloff.
