Bitcoin Holds Firm at $65,000 Amid Eased Risk-Off Sentiment
Bitcoin has continued to hold firm above $65,000 on Monday, despite ongoing tensions between the US and Iran. The pause in missile strikes has eased risk-off sentiment, moving closer to neutral. Meanwhile, DeFi tokens Aave (AAVE) and Ondo (ONDO) have emerged as top performers over the last 24 hours.
The CoinMarketCap Fear and Greed Index currently sits at 39, reflecting stability close to the neutral zone. From a technical perspective, Bitcoin's price remains well beneath its 200-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $74,529, which keeps the broader outlook capped despite a mild constructive bias in the near term.
Aave is trading near the $100 mark, with a constructive bullish bias, holding above the 50-day EMA at $89.48 and reclaiming the 50% retracement of its latest downswing from $131.98 to $57.83 at $94.90 as underlying demand.
