Bitcoin Holds Near $65K as FOMC Meeting Looms Amid ETF Outflows
Bitcoin traded near $65,000 on Monday as investors awaited this week's FOMC meeting amidst ETF outflows and geopolitical tensions.
The cryptocurrency was up 1.5% in the past 24 hours, while Ethereum rose by 4.5%. BNB, XRP, Solana, Tron, Hyperliquid, and Cardano also gained up to 2%, but Dogecoin fell 1%.
Akshat Siddhant, Lead quant analyst at Mudrex, said Bitcoin's rebound remains weak due to net outflows in US spot Bitcoin ETFs. He added that broader macroeconomic uncertainty and ongoing geopolitical tensions have kept investors cautious.
The global crypto market capitalization increased 1.5% to $2.24 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap. The fear and greed index improved slightly to 37, but market sentiments remain under fear, said the CoinDCX Research Team.
