Bitcoin Holds Near $65K as Offshore Liquidity Rebuilds Rapidly
Bitcoin held steady near $65K on August 8 as offshore stablecoin liquidity began rebuilding rapidly.
The price movement was muted, but capital flows told a different story. Data showed a geographic repositioning taking shape, with liquidity shifting away from US markets toward offshore trading hubs.
In the US, demand has shown signs of fatigue in recent weeks, with the Coinbase Premium Index staying in negative territory. Meanwhile, mid-to-long-term holders remain active, and spending behavior across coins aged 1.5 to 5 years stays elevated against quarterly baselines.
Outside the US, dry powder appears to be staging rapidly on global and Asian exchanges. Stablecoin netflow into Binance surged roughly 218% week-over-week, with a 7-day average crossing $81 million.
