Bitcoin Holds Near $77,000 as Investors Await US Federal Reserve's September Rate Decision
Bitcoin is trading near $77,000, as investors remain cautious ahead of the US Federal Reserve's September policy decision. The cryptocurrency was valued at $76,985 in the past 24 hours.
In this period, Bitcoin fell by 1.44% and Ethereum dropped by 2.04% to trade at $2,477. BNB, Solana, Tron, Hyperliquid, Dogecoin, and Cardano corrected up to 3%, while XRP increased by 0.51%.
Avinash Shekhar, Co-founder & CEO of Pi42, stated that the market is driven more by macroeconomic cues than crypto-specific developments. Elevated bond yields and uncertainty around interest-rate trajectories are keeping risk appetite in check.
Despite this, Bitcoin's ability to hold above the $76,000-$77,000 zone indicates underlying demand remains relatively resilient. However, traders should expect volatility to remain elevated around the Fed announcement, as any change in the rate outlook could determine Bitcoin's next directional move.
