Bitcoin Holds Near $80K Amid Easing Bond Yields, AlphaPepe Nears Sellout

Bitcoin's price has remained near $80,000 as bond yields ease and corporate demand stays in focus. The cryptocurrency briefly pushed above $81,000 before a stronger-than-expected jobs report pulled it back toward $79,600.

The Treasury yields fell on Thursday after Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller signaled he could support keeping rates steady if inflation continues cooling. This softer backdrop helped risk assets rebound and BTC clear $81,000.

AlphaPepe (ALPE) presale is attracting buyers at a much earlier point in the cycle, with a record $2.61 million raised and more than 11,500 holders. Stage 20 is nearing a sellout after several previous stages filled quickly, while the presale and DEX launch are scheduled for Q1 2027.
