Bitcoin Holds Steady Ahead of Clarity Act Vote and Fed Meeting
Bitcoin stabilized at $77,406.0 on Tuesday after gaining some ground in the previous session following reports of President Donald Trump's agreement to a new ethics provision in the Clarity Act.
The Senate is set to vote on the Clarity Act on Tuesday, which aims to establish a wide-reaching regulatory framework for crypto in the US.
The bill requires at least 60 votes to clear Congress and has been pushed by crypto proponents, but still needs to attract some Democrat support to move forward.
Meanwhile, broader crypto prices were largely rangebound, with only minor movements due to growing risk aversion and anticipation of a Federal Reserve meeting on Wednesday, where interest rates are expected to be raised by 25 basis points.
