Bitcoin Holds Steady Amid CLARITY Act Vote as Zcash and Stellar Rally
Bitcoin (BTC) held steady at around $78,000 on Tuesday, maintaining its roughly 2% recovery from the previous day. The broader cryptocurrency market remains volatile ahead of the scheduled CLARITY Act cloture vote.
Zcash (ZEC) and Stellar (XLM) continued their bullish momentum, emerging as the top performers over the last 24 hours.
Bitcoin's price action remains above key support levels, including the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), as well as the 50% Fibonacci retracement at $75,233. However, it is capped by a broken support-turned-resistance trendline near $82,850.
Zcash has been holding above key EMAs, including the 50-day EMA at roughly $828 and the 200-day EMA at about $554. The price remains below its record high of $1,296 reached last week, but a confirmed breakout could extend the rally toward the R3 Pivot Point at $1,435.
