Bitcoin Holds Steady Amid Ongoing Geopolitical Tensions
Bitcoin's price hovered around $64,150 after US President Donald Trump paused military strikes on Iran, reducing immediate escalation risk. This development eased some of the geopolitical tension that had been weighing on the cryptocurrency market.
However, despite this brief reprieve, tensions persist as diplomatic talks and regional conflicts continue to unfold. As a result, Bitcoin remains under pressure, with ongoing institutional and retail demand remaining sluggish.
The price action is also being watched closely by analysts who are looking for signs of a break above $67,000 or support near $63,800. If the former occurs, it could signal the resumption of bullish momentum, but if the latter holds, it may indicate further declines towards $49,000-$59,000.
Some experts even suggest that Bitcoin could drop to $45,000 by early October 2026 due to patterns seen in past crypto exchange failures and potential market capitulation phases triggered by the planned shutdown of BitMEX.
