Bitcoin Holds Steady Near $78K Amid Macro Shocks
Bitcoin's price remains steady near $78K as markets grapple with potential macro shocks that may have been underestimated this week.
The next few days will be crucial in determining whether these events push Bitcoin into a new regime or reinforce the existing market conditions. According to Glassnode, several key thresholds must be breached for Bitcoin's price to shift.
One of these thresholds is the $80,500 corporate treasury break-even level, which, if surpassed, could indicate that institutional holders are returning to profit-taking mode. Another threshold is the $83,000 to $86,000 overhead band, where long-term holder cost basis and short-liquidation exposure converge.
However, if Bitcoin's price drops below $76,600, it would signal a weakening of the floor under the recent rally. The deeper structural failure point lies at $62,000 to $65,000, according to Glassnode's framework.
