Bitcoin Holds Steady Near $78K Amid US-Iran Tensions
Geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran have pushed oil prices higher, but Bitcoin has remained steady near $78,000. The cryptocurrency outperformed gold and stocks in August, gaining around 23%.
The price of WTI crude oil surged to $85.10 per barrel after a US attack on an Iranian island, while Brent crude reached $92.39 per barrel.
Analyst Tom Lee projects that Ethereum could reach $6,000 if Bitcoin climbs to $150,000 by the end of 2026, driven by a rising ETH/BTC ratio.
