Bitcoin Hovering Near $78k Amid Shift to Global ETF Access
Bitcoin traded near $78,000 on Sunday, relatively unchanged over the past 24 hours. The cryptocurrency's price has been steady as market attention shifts toward broader global ETF access and a more practical pitch to retail investors.
Ki Young Ju, founder of CryptoQuant, believes that institutional money and exchange-traded funds outside the U.S. could drive the peak of Bitcoin's current bull cycle. In fact, U.S. spot Bitcoin funds have accumulated around $57 billion in net inflows over their first two years, but access remains far more limited in markets like South Korea.
Young Ju argues that wider international distribution, deeper stablecoin liquidity, and tokenized real-world asset infrastructure could broaden participation, with more institutions holding Bitcoin as a strategic asset. However, expanding adoption may require changing how Bitcoin is presented to ordinary investors.
