Bitcoin HYPER Raises $33M as FOMC Meeting Looms with Rate Hike Uncertainty
The Federal Reserve's upcoming FOMC meeting on September 16 has left markets uncertain about whether to expect a rate hike or cut. President Trump, VP Vance, Treasury Secretary Bessent, and economic counselor Navarro have all expressed their views that the Fed should either cut rates or not raise them at all.
The current market pricing suggests a 58.4% probability of a quarter-point rate hike. Bitcoin is trading sideways above $79,000, while Ethereum is near $2,480 and total crypto market cap sits at $2.71 trillion. The Fear and Greed Index reads 74, but derivatives volume surged 25.38% to $582.8 billion.
In this uncertain environment, Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) has raised $33.1 million in presale funding. The project aims to build a Bitcoin Layer 2 using the Solana Virtual Machine for execution while settling back to Bitcoin's base layer.
