Bitcoin Ignores Global Market Volatility
Bitcoin has remained largely unaffected by significant shifts in global markets, including rising U.S. equities and plummeting oil prices.
According to a report from Glassnode, despite these changes, Bitcoin's price has traded within an 8% range of $62,000-$67,000 over the past 35 days, currently sitting at around $64,200.
This lack of response to global market movements is unusual and suggests investor apathy rather than panic, a dynamic that has rarely been seen in past bear markets.
A recent hack on Coldcard hardware wallets resulted in a loss of up to $38 million worth of Bitcoin, but the market's reaction was minimal, with only a small portion of the stolen funds entering exchanges.
Experts believe this muted response could be a sign that Bitcoin is nearing its bottom and preparing for a recovery.
