Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Pile Up Record Amounts Amid Market Volatility
Bitcoin's long-term holders have been accumulating coins at an impressive pace over the past month, according to data from CryptoQuant. The LTH Net Position Change, which tracks whether investors with extended investment horizons are increasing or reducing their balances, has reached approximately 1.29 million BTC.
This is the strongest accumulation reading in more than six years and suggests that experienced investors continue to view market weakness as an opportunity to build positions. Unlike speculative wallets that frequently rotate positions, long-term holders typically respond less to short-term market swings.
The fixed supply of 21 million coins also plays a crucial role in Bitcoin's dynamics. As more BTC moves into long-term storage, fewer units remain readily available on exchanges, creating tighter circulating liquidity if demand begins to increase again.
