Bitcoin Market Divided: Retail Investors Retreating as Whales Double Down
The Bitcoin market is witnessing a dramatic divergence in behavior between retail and institutional investors. While retail investors are showing signs of retreating from the market, whales, those holding 100 BTC or more, are doubling down on their investments.
This trend is reflected in the Accumulation Trend Score, which stands at -0.982 for wallets holding between 0.1 and 1 BTC. In contrast, whales are actively accumulating more Bitcoin, signaling strong faith in its future prospects.
The recent surge in Bitcoin prices, fueled by ETF inflows and heightened institutional interest, has led to a critical resistance zone between $80,000 and $83,000. Analysts caution that failure to hold support at around $75,000 could trigger a significant price drop.
