Bitcoin Maxis May Abandon BTC for XRP in Bull Market
Vandell Aljarrah, co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist, believes that Bitcoin maximalists may abandon BTC for XRP if the latter experiences an explosive bull run and reaches new all-time highs. In a post on X, he wrote that when this happens, 'Bitcoin maxis will likely dump their BTC for XRP.'
Several crypto commentators responded to Aljarrah's prediction, with some XRP supporters agreeing with his assessment. ChartNerd, a popular technical analyst, also agreed with the prediction but noted that many Bitcoin-only investors would enter XRP too late to benefit from the biggest part of the rally.
X user Christopher Schwartz suggested that some Bitcoin supporters may never switch positions due to their strong ideological views, saying 'Many of them have XRP Derangement Syndrome and would rather go down with the ship than admit they were wrong.'
